Climate litigation: big oil must fight on the science or die
A point that I have raised for years. Never really going into the meat of the argument and not taking a stance is a recipe for disaster. This was started many years ago by managers who have since retired in comfort leaving this snowballing problem to later generations to deal with. There should be rules preventing this. There should be a liability for senior managers if they pursue courses of action that produce future liabilities. But how does one do that in practice? Clawback?
