It’s hard to attribute something when prediction and reality are separated by such a massive chasm. It would help a lot if only one single model produced results that would at least somehow chime with the real world but none does. Not even one. It’s essentially all unfounded speculation as long as we don’t get any tangible proof. And when models are the only evidence they have and those all fail, their case hangs on a hair. But that’s all Arnold needs.
