Climatologist Michael E Mann: ‘Good people fall victim to doomism. I do too sometimes’

Michael Mann is a smart man. He knows that the sheeple needs to be shorn slowly,  not too much at a time for it to be profitable for a long time. If you just rip their fleece away in one go, the sheeple might object and start thinking and looking at facts. And Mann can’t have that as too many of them will wake up from the slumber he has helped put them in and this kills the goose that lays his golden eggs. Just imagine climate scientists would have to take responsibility for all the false assumptions they spout all the time. They don’t want that. Much better to keep the temperature moderate and boil the frogs slowly.
