Coal and LNG’s surge in Asia plays into renewable energy hands
Wait a minute. We have been sledgehammered for years now that wind and solar are the cheapest energy sources. That was supposed to be the case when coal and LNG were half as expensive. It should be even better now. Ain’t that a perfect time to cut all subsidies – direct and indirect ones? Either wind and solar are as cheap as they claim to be and then they don’t need the subsidies. Or they are taking us for fools.
