Cop28 president: world needs business mindset to tackle climate crisis

My Master’s was in business and tax law. Naturally, while we were to become lawyers we needed to be proficient readers of company accounts. So we learned KPIs, what they are, and how they function. I always hated them and when it was time for the end-of-year exams, I skipped them all and concentrated on the case. Days later I was told that I was the only one to find all the little traps hidden in it. When my professor asked me how I did it I told her that by skipping those damn KPIs I was able to focus on what really happens. KPIs are supposed to bring light. They are used much more to bury the truth.
