Coronavirus puts shaky condition of debt-laden shale firms in spotlight
With humans, every life matters. We need to do our utmost in order to make sure that people are safe. But in the corporate world, the law of the jungle should prevail. If you are not fit enough to stand on your own, you become food for the others. Eat or be eaten allows for the bad flesh to be frittered away and gives those that are healthier a shot in the arm as the piece of the market the sicker rival had occupied is up for grabs now. The law of the jungle always was one of the mightiest assets the US had – bit it back its bite.
