China cannot do what the US needs. It would break its business model and this means the Chinese leadership would have to admit to their own population that they were wrong. Being weak is deadly in Chinese culture so it won’t happen. Until all is in shambles. nd the US does not need to give in as the economy is thriving and the China factor starts to work itself out of the US economy. Time is against China and for the US on this one. Only a deep structural reform can fix China but that would also mean that the CCP gives up the power monopoly and thats not going to happen so whatever happens on the news front, the downward dynamic won’t be reversed.
