Dear DOGE: It’s time to end energy subsidies

It makes sense to look at everything thats subsidized by any public entity and go back to the core definition of what a subsidy should stand for. To push a pilot over the edge in the hope that it might spawn a new industry. If that first pilot does not cut it after a while, subsidizing it must be discontinued as it is obviously a failure. You will fail when you try new things but allowing an entire industry to stay above the market through subsidies is no such thing. It’s a system to make money for those well-connected and thats fraud to me. Oh, and while you are at it DOGE, please also look at the network advantages that wind and solar enjoy. Those are subsidies too. We all pay for that.
