Delingpole: Boris Johnson’s Looming Wind Disaster
Boris has two options now: he can do as if nothing has happened, let it blow over and when this happens again (I have a hunch it will) it’s his problem no matter what his predecessors have done to bring it about. Or he can identify the real cause and expose it to the light of day and say that those before him were crashing Britain and he is going to fix it now. Let’s guess together what way he is inclined to take. Renewables are a self defeating technology. As long as they are small, the party is great as fossil energy absorbs the instability they bring. Beyond a certain size, this filters through. There is no hiding, not even in the dark.
