Denmark to end oil and gas era in 2050
Germany, to the south of Demark, will provide the most glaring case study on how to wreck an economy. But Germany has always been a massive energy importer. Domestic production of anything but coal was always negligible. But Denmark had a nice nest egg called oil and gas that helped it sustain its very generous social system and, by the way, hide some of the worst blunders of their politicians. That next egg gets frittered away now. Let’s see how the Danes like the effects of that in time.
