What happens when the two biggest Ponzi schemes of the planet meet? Exactly right – something that will rock our economies for decades to come. Astonishingly, the Red Ponzi is far easier to resolve. China will revert back to a mere shadow of what it projects to be to the outside right now. Not quite as wretched as after Mao but far from the paradise it likes to see itself. But its the Green Ponzi that requires us to do some self-reflection. Are we actually capable of doing that without putting our own existence in question? One thing is safe to say – my grandparents survived WW2. We will survive this – but history will not be kind with us.
