Storing electricity is very hard and hence very expensive. Electricity is not stuff that you can put somewhere. It’s free electrons and those don’t want to be in a jar. So we can either store latent energy that we have produced with electricity that we don’t need at the moment. That’s pumped hydro and that’s very expensive. Or you use batteries and that’s super-expensive. Or you produce an energy carrier such as hydrogen which is astronomically expensive. Physics doesn’t respond well to cheap tricks or make-believe.
