Any mature society will, in time, be completely dominated by a self-anointed elite that will seek to have an easy life on the back of others’ work and sweat. That was so in early Mesopotamian cultures through all civilizations anywhere on Earth and today democracies are no exception. I would even say that developed countries’ immense wealth is fertile ground for grifters. Who is surprised that those same grifters are shouting bloody murder when the flow of money and recognition is threatened? They will use any means at their disposal, no matter how shoddy, immoral, or outright disgusting it may be to any normal person. This is unprecedented.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
