Drax’s renewable energy plant is UK’s biggest CO2 emitter, analysis claims
Nobody ever talks about this. The Green Industrial Complex wants to make us believe that their stuff does not cause any CO2 emissions. But when you need a whole field of solar arrays to match the power output of a small CCGT, then we should really ask ourselves how much more stuff is cleaner than much less stuff. And then you still need the CCGT to backup when the sun does not shine. This means that all emissions, those from producing the arrays (or windmills) and those from the CCGT as without the intermittency of renewables, the CCGT would not be necessary. We only see the peak of the renewable emissions iceberg.
