E-Vehicle Woes: German Cities Remove E-Buses From Service After Bursting In Flames: “Fire Hazard”
It’s not only the busses. Today I brought my father-in-law to a medical examination and when we entered the underground parking there was a sign that Electric Vehicles are not allowed in. And obviously, it’s not only this underground parking as they referred to but it’s a ruling by the fire safety authorities of Vienna. This is annoying for EV drivers. But it’s not over. Because there will be more fires and we need to ask ourselves if we want a highly toxic, impossible to extinguish fire anywhere near where children, old people, and the sick have to go.
