Wasn’t it Al Gore, the big cheese in person who predicted Arctic Ice would be gone by 2016? It fits so nicely with all the other predictions that had turned out so – reliably unreliable. But maybe the Russian LNG operators have not yet read the Al Gore memo. If they had, they would know that all this ice is just a figment of their imagination. There should be no ice at all. Let alone no early ice. By the way, those LNG ships are extraordinary beasts. They can do what no other LNG ship can as they are ice class. So they can deal with quite some ice. But not the thickness and volume that they are getting now. Early in the year. That must be the fabled power of imagination. Because when Al Gore says it, it must be true. Is it not?
