That reminds me of the joblessness policy in many countries. One jobless person costs the state a certain sum per month in social spending. So states subsidize massive programs to employ those people spending multiples of the social benefits one would get as a true jobless. It’s very expensive and useless and mostly, those people are paid just to keep the numbers low. Efuels are expensive – wind power is already massively expensive and can’t compete on the open market. Efuels are like pouring gasoline into a dumpster fire.
