And thats just one example of where the fun goes into an end-spin. Electric Vehicles are a drain to public finances as they cost subsidies the public hand must pay out and a loss of revenue through multiple tax and other advantages they enjoy. Politicians will have to start erasing the advantages to restore their income to healthy levels – especially in those times of increased support needs for the population. Something will have to give and I bet all the schemes for the RE and EV revolution are easy candidates for the chop. It’s about time.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
