Electric Vehicles and Paying for Our Highways
It’s not only our highways that are on the line. It’s a good chunk of our social system that will go down the drain when money from fuel taxes does not flow anymore. Every single Electric Vehicle means two things. It means less revenue as such vehicles pay either no or vastly reduces charges and taxes as an incitement to convert. And it also means active money outflow as those things are usually subsidized which means funds out of the general budget go to EV’s instead of the social system. It’s a lose-lose for everyone but the promoters of such projects.
