Elixir Energy plans small-scale Mongolia LNG plant

LNG is cleaner, LNG is cheaper – and I bet that the fact that LNG cannot easily be used by any fuel thieves is part of their considerations. Just imagine you steal one of those trucks full of LNG and bring it back to your lair. What then. You cant simply put it in drums and seek off little by little. Next time you will take special care that whatever it is you are stealing, it’s not LNG.

Australia-based Elixir Energy said it has recently signed a deal with Mongolia’s MT Group to develop a small-scale LNG plant in the South Gobi region.
