You cant have an arrangement, a compromise with extremists. They will stop at nothing until all their most extreme demands are met and when this happens, they will draw up a list of new ones more extreme. When I lived in the Middle East I asked a friend and hostage negotiator how he finds middle ground with extremists. He told me “You can’t.” Same here – the US population will have to make up its mind. Every American living like the Amish or restore legal certainty.
