Environmentalism In America Is Dead

The villain TopDollar of the 1994 The Crow movie said it best: “A man has an idea. The idea attracts others, like-minded. The idea expands, and the idea becomes an institution. What was the idea?” Seems like every good idea eventually turns into something that cant even vaguely remember its original ideas. Environmental protection used to be a good thing. it used to be about animals, plants, landscapes, and life itself. It used to be protection instead of a racket. It used to be a cause that many people of very different persuasions could identify with. That’s why the original Greenies were such a colorful and unruly bunch. But those days are long gone. The protectors have turned into the destroyers.
