EPA Heavily Redacts Official’s Recusal Information
Every time I see such a heavily redacted document from a taxpayer-funded entity I ask myself what we are paying for. It’s our money and it’s our interest that’s supposedly at stake so why should we not have the full information? There should be a high rating law that makes transparency the standard that everyone must abide by and any redaction of secrecy must be specifically motivated. Not in general terms but it must be specifically justified in every single point why the public can’t know. Governments should not be able to hide from their citizens.
