EPA’s Illegal Power Play

Bureaucracies have an inflationary nature. As soon as they are created they want to expand into every area they possibly can as this means more money, more power, and more leverage. In Europe, there are cities without walls that still have offices charged with opening and closing the city gates. There should be a constitutional provision that any independent authority should only be created for 10 years at a time after which they would have to explain what they are good for, present a new business plan, and then get a fresh vote. Sometimes an authority has outlived its purpose. Sometimes not.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
