Thats the quick fix it appears but in their haste EU leaders don’t even look at a much cheaper, faster, and easier option. Look at the existing terminal infrastructure and how it could be boosted. A receiving terminal is essentially 3 pieces of infrastructure. Jetties, tanks, and regasifiers with evacuation pipes. Tanks are the longest lead item. But higher churn in existing tankage would increase capacity. All one needs is more jetty space and regasification capacity but you need that for the floaters too. How serious are we with this?
