People want energy, they want warm dinner and warm showers, they want light at night and energy when they need it, not when the weather is right. And if we take this away from people we transform them back into an unruly mob. A small number of activists push policies that bring the average people to the fringe. And politicians know that which is why they rather bring coal back than risk the ire of the voters.
