We have been told for the longest time that Globalism is on life support. This life support starts to fail. Since Bush senior, every following US president has been less globalist than his predecessor. Biden is true to that trend as he beats even Trump on protectionist tendencies. Why is this important for the rest of the world? Globalism was a US-driven Cold War project to rally the free world against communism. This had lost its purpose after the fall of the Soviet empire. Without the US, the rest of the world will retrench too.

Companies on the continent have taken a leading position along the value chain for potential US projects, while the EU readies a ramp-up in policy support

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
