EU’s Cañete warns gas pipelines risk becoming ‘stranded assets’

And he thinks that cozying up to the renewable dreamers will provide him with one. He is either incredibly venal or he has taken the KoolAid of the renewable mafia that wants to revert Europe back to the stone age. I recommend that Mr. Canetes home should be disconnected from the grid at once. Shall he live with what he advocates.
Miguel Arias Cañete, the EU Commissioner for climate action and energy, had an unpleasant message for the gas industry when he presented the European Commission’s 2050 vision for a “climate neutral” economy earlier this week.
