Excessive renewable energy subsidies are now a major obstacle to Net Zero
All Ponzi schemes eventually run into the same problem. They need to somehow hide the fact that they are money suckers and hence destroyers of value. If voters knew from the beginning what the full cost of those policies is and if they had to carry them instantly as they arise, they would likely vote those instituting them out of power. So the cost must be hidden under layers of taxes, slow price rises, and printing piles of money. But it’s a losing game – no way out.
