ExxonMobil confirms Mozambique LNG halt
It won’t be the last company that pulls the plug on projects in this part of the world. Many African governments seem to have thought that only the potential for oil and gas will be enough for big companies to beat a path to their door. This is not over yet but it becomes significantly harder for them to entice excitement in corporate boardrooms. There are more attractive alternatives. Deal with it.
