Family Businesses Can’t Afford to Lose Access to Reliable Electricity

Most politicians I know hate family businesses. Especially mom-and-pop stores. They are usually very independent-minded and cannot be milked as well as big corporations with Ponzi managers at the helm. They also tend to think realistically as if they don’t, their business won’t last. So, if a certain policy kills those businesses off, politicians may make some conciliatory tones towards them but deep in their hearts they are rejoicing. They feel they deserve to be the masters of the universe. No pesky small business owners are required for that.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
