Fears over China’s Muslim forced labor loom over EU solar power
Right now industrial countries are rapidly deindustrializing and it must be clear by now that the promised shift to higher-value jobs is no more than hot air. Solid industries are the backbone of an advanced economy. Much of what we outsourced into low-wage low-regulation countries comes back to bite us now. We must find what it really would cost to produce those same things in our own countries, apply a competitive spicer, and find a mechanism to iron out the wrinkles produced by – as an example – slave labor. Not easy at all – but vital.
