Feeding cows pills to suppress their burps ‘can cut emissions’

I ask myself what this planet has done with all the methane emitted by animals before the advent of the industrial age. Europe had a huge number of swamps before humans made those swamps arable land. Those swamps produced enormous amounts of methane and CO2 that were emitted into the atmosphere. Those swamps not being here anymore means that we are living in a methane and CO2 deficit as compared to before humans. Also, vast herds of animals roamed the planet before they got hunted to extinction. Methane and CO2 are part of nature. Climate Alarmists are not.
