First cryogenic station being built on Moscow–St. Petersburg corridor
It always defied logic for me that Russia would no gasify its transport system even more. Use gas, export oil is a winning formula. In a country like Russia that should be a no-brainer. Good that it starts now.
A ceremony marking the construction start of the first cryogenic filling station of Gazprom on the new Moscow – St. Petersburg highway (M-11) took place near Okulovka, Novgorod Region. The station will be used primarily for fueling heavy-duty trucks with LNG. It will be located at the premises of the Valdai mixed-use highway service area.
