Five Reasons To Be Bullish On the United States

When I was a little boy, right after hitting elementary school and learning the fundamentals I stumbled upon the old school atlas of my father. My father was born in 1935 so the world looked very different when it was printed. I was fascinated by how borders had changed already then and thats when I got fascinated by the US. It took more than 2 decades until I started to understand how the US came together, the founding fathers, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution but I knew that this country was special. The US has many problems and produced tons of crap but it takes this crap and fertilizes the future with it. Here it stands alone.

Our political system is a mess, voters are divided, and the federal debt is soaring. But the US still has enormous advantages over the rest of the world.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
