Sure they go further after a win – who would not? Thats not astonishing. What’s astonishing to me is that the South African government surely expects investors to beat a path to their doors again. Do you think the O&G world won’t take note? Sure it will and all that remains in their heads is that South Africa is no-no land for any developments. Sure, South African players could try themselves at those projects but their track record is not good. South Africa is in the middle of an energy crisis – on top of all the other crises it faces. And salps the hand that could help douse the flames.
