For Cop29 to succeed, rich nations must get their parliaments to agree more finance now

The problem is that rich nations are not really that rich anymore. They have printed mountains of worthless cash to pay for all the bling over the last two decades. COVID just started to unravel this unhealthy system of creating cash out of thin air. If only the cash would have been poured into infrastructure that makes the nation stronger and provides more economic opportunities for its people but on the contrary, it has been poured into senseless schemes that have saddled us with massive parks of junk we will need to get rid of. Costing more money in the end.
