French energy group Total estimates at least one year of delays to Mozambique project

What does it matter? I mean I have been an independent consultant for 10 years now and Mozambique was the big thing that was supposed to take FID every day when I was still working for a big O&G company. Nothing has changed in more than 10 years. What has held them up so far? The Islamist insurgency is just a very recent issue. I guess there are deeper issues so don’t count on one year as well. Mozambique LNG might be dead already and does not know it yet. But maybe the authorities there have a wake-up call.
