French hydrogen mobility project passes major milestone
OK, let me get this straight. They have passed a major milestone because they were able to coax politicians to throw a ton of subsidies that taxpayers had to cough up on a project to make sure it flies. A much more important milestone would have been to announce that this project is viable without the truckload of tax money. Only by what the market gives it. But I doubt we will ever hit this milestone. That said, no doubt hydrogen will tell us that it’s cheaper than gasoline in some time all while forcefully insisting on more subsidies. Thats a script we know.
