French President Rejects Trade Deals With Countries Outside Paris Agreement
Oh yeah, that’s right. France will have trade deals with countries that have signed the Paris accord but have shown that they did probably never even intend to implement it and it will not have trade deals with countries that are outside the Paris accord but that have the cleanest air in many decades. Don’t go for the Taliban – this is what irrational religious fervor looks like. Damn the results as long as the paper is fine. And the people who have to breathe the cheater’s air – who cares about the people anyway?
French President Emmanuel Macron pledged on Tuesday that his country would not make trade deals with any country not signed on to the Paris agreement to limit global warming to “well below” two degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, The Hill reported.
