Fueling ships with LNG — the cleanest fuel available today — makes sense
“We should wait until science develops a cleaner – non-fossil – fuel” Meaning that it’s OK to let people choke to death in the meantime while we have a solution that would eliminate the things that kill us and leave only a reduced amount of the controversial climate stuff to deal with. besides, once you go for LNG its no problem at all to switch for bio-LNG later if carbon is what you fear. So, LNG is already fossil free if we want it. But that’s lost on a politician who literally walks over dead people.
