Further Data Boosts Balticconnector Leads Pointing to Vessel

Let’s assume it’s really the Chinese vessel. Let’s also assume that this is a true accident and not some more malicious story. What does this plus the destruction of the North Stream pipelines tell us about the safety of offshore pipelines? Can we confidently trust our energy security to those big tubes? I would love to as I find pipelines an incredibly efficient and safe way to transport stuff but the underwater world is murky and fraught with dangers. Not a place for lifelines. Better to have lumps that can move freely. Like tankers with Liquefied gas in their cargo holds.
