German CDU chancellor candidate: Nord Stream could be halted if Russia abuses it
Yeahh right, and we are supposed to believe this? Come on, at least be honest. There is no scenario when Germany would halt operations except when there is a massive gas overhang in Germany. Germany does not have very deep gas storage so when things come to a head, they need every molecule they can get And as there is more wind and solar plus less purchasable flexibility from neighboring countries, gas will have to pick up the tab. Germany needs the gas like a heroin addict needs the needle.
