“Carbon is essential for taming hydrogen” – thats the essential phrase. Because we have been in a hydrogen economy for many decades by now. Natural Gas is a friendly form of Hydrogen. Anyone who has dealt with hydrogen directly will affirm how hard to handle and dangerous it is. We are not even talking about the exorbitant cost. Natural Gas is like oil you say? Not even close. It’s a pure substance (97% methane) as opposed to a ragtag hydrocarbon mix that liquid hydrocarbons are. Tamed Hydrogen.
