Just imagine we would have had that kind of news from the Soviet Union about 40 years ago. We would have pitied those poor souls that have to persist under such inhumane leadership and tyranny. We would have organized collections with blankets and food boxes for those little children and we would have felt good and warm about our material safety and comforts. That was 40 years ago. Now we are at the receiving end of cold and miserable. And we have ourselves to blame.
