German Green Movement “A Run Amok At The Expense Of People And Nature”

Politicians can be very stubborn when it comes to doing what they feel is right as opposed to what their constituents want. Germans have just shown their elected bunch that they do not agree with what they do in the European Elections. Germany faces federal elections next year and there are already strong voices all over the political spectrum that the Energiewende might have been overambitious. But the main opposition party AFD throws the climate emergency out completely and people start to get it. Don’t expect a wave of common sense to roll over Germany now though. As I said, politicians are boneheads and although the Greens as well as the Socialists got a good drubbing, they might just dig in. That’s what narrative-driven ideologues do.
