German LNG demand for transport more than doubles
Imagine what’s possible. Just 5 years back Germany was the red lantern of Europe in terms of LNG as a fuel. Now it’s one of the most exciting markets and I have no doubt that in a short time, it will become difficult for freighters to buy new trucks that don’t run on LNG. It will just be too risky to go for diesel. No need to go after diesel with bans. Just give LNG a free run pretty soon, the very slim subsidies for LNG can drop as well and it will still soldier on by its own momentum. A point that EV’s have never even come close to.
