Germany doesn’t need Trump’s gas
Both sides don’t look at facts in this discussion, it’s like a couple of kids fighting over whose dad is the strongest. Those who say that LNG is more expensive and that it’s not as clean as pipeline gas are wrong by a long margin. It’s not like compressing gas through a pipe does come for free or is has zero climate impact. And North Stream 2 actually provides a service (counterbalance for trading) to global LNG which makes it more profitable. So, simmer down folks and let’s look at the facts.
