Germany Has No Plan To Recycle Wind Turbines: 1.35M Tons Hazardous Waste
Not only there is no plan – even more important there is no money to do anything. The fairy tale that recycling would generate money is already down the drain. Anything you do with them costs a lot of energy. I ask myself how long this turning would have to operate at realistic rates to produce just the energy needed to shred those blades. And what about the towers. And the massive concrete foundations. It will all be buried.
