Germany May Need Standby Coal Plants for Longer Than Planned

At this point, this should not be uncertain anymore. Germans would collapse without coal generation. And this would not be a bad thing if German coal burning would not be among the most harmful to the planet. And I am not even talking about carbon emissions as I deem them beneficial to the lump of rock we inhabit. I am talking about the destruction brought about by the mining of lignite coal in Germany. The planet has excellent black coal and Germany would do good to import that or it could use a coal gasification technology that would not require the razing of small towns and entire ecosystems. Yes, climate alarmists, I blame you for that.
